Jean Paul Gaultier

Following Jean Paul Gaultier’s departure in 2020 and five years defined by collections from a succession of guest designers, the House enters a new chapter in 2025 with the appointment of Duran Lantink as Creative Director.

Leading both Haute Couture and ready-to-wear, the Dutch designer brings a distinctive perspective to the House’s heritage, while forging a language of his own — one rooted in transformation, the subversion of form and a spirit of experimentation.

The icon

With Duran Lantink, Jean Paul Gaultier’s codes are reinvented : corsets, «marinières», exaggerated volumes, trompe-l’œil and gender-fluid silhouettes become the starting point for a wardrobe in constant evolution.

Couture savoir-faire meets cutting-edge technology, transforming volume and challenging the conventional silhouette. At the intersection of heritage and innovation, his approach carries forward the House’s spirit of irreverence.
